Damian Washington, an actor classically trained at the LaGuardia High School for Performing Arts in New York City, has appeared in commercials, voiceovers and film projects. In 1999, he received a full scholarship to attend Middlebury College. While studying theater at Middlebury, he also developed an interest in music and business with various internships at Sony Music International and Columbia Pictures.
At The Buzz Factory, Damian is the Vice President of Operations. Designer and webmaster for this site, Damian also oversees most TBF projects including, but not limited to, video design and music development.
His latest project was developing the music for the It’sugar Candy Rappers. It’sugar is a 6,000 sq. foot candy store at the Pier at Caesars, a $200 million retail, dining and entertainment complex in Atlantic City. Whether making the music, writing and performing lyrics, or concept development, Damian was given the task of breathing life into a vision of music that was candy themed, but also hip enough to be embraced by people of all ages.
Currently, Damian is developing and searching for projects to be a vehicle for his talents. A vibrant, charismatic spirit teamed with training and a passion for quality work makes Damian a great addition to any ensemble.
